The firm contract is for 4 years and has an estimated contract value in the range of USD 50-70 million subject to operational activity during the contract duration. The contract additionally contains 2+2 year options.
Odfjell Drilling is currently under contract to perform platform drilling services on the same unit. However, no wells have been drilled in 2016. The new contract comes into effect at 1 January 2017.
