The wind power developer is based out of the US East Coast.

The wind farm, located in the south-central region of the US, will use REpower’s MM92 turbines, with an overall power output of 150MW.

The wind turbines feature a hub height of 80m and a nominal output of 2.05MW each with a rotor diameter of 92m.

Delivery and initial operation of the turbines is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2012.

REpower was assisted by Suzlon Wind Energy as a sales agent during the customer negotiations of this project.

REpower Systems CEO Andreas Nauen said the company is pleased to announce its second largest US project till date and the supply of the reliable MM92 turbines.
