Solar Nation designed, engineered and installed the 9,130sq ft ground mounted array at SFC’s distribution warehouse in Secaucus.
The solar-electric system is comprised of 504 SolarWorld 235W solar panels, a Power-One inverter and a Deck web-based monitoring system.
The panels have been manufactured in the US.
The energy generated by the solar system will be enough to power about eight homes and meet Smile Fashion’s electricity needs for their building.
The system will also cut greenhouse gas emissions by 94 metric tons annually.
The solar-electric system installation is in line with Solar Nation’s environmental stewardship and energy conservation initiatives.
