Metadigm Services will install its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) services to replace residential meters in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.
The original one-year contract was announced in September 2011 and comprised commercial and industrial meter replacements across 118,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines.
Metadigm CEO Robert Shively said more utility companies need the right partner to help them benefit from government incentives as well as comply with new state regulations within very tight deadlines.

Metadigm is a utility services company specializing in AMI services to utilities.
