The sale, which was conducted through a tender via Angolan Government diamond sale agency SODIAM, comes after the sale of 496.2 carats in July 2013 for $A3.12m ($2.88m).
The latest sale represents an average price of A$7,873 ($7,278.3) per carat.
The company generated gross proceeds of over A$6m ($5.54m) from the two sales at an average sale price of A$6,960 ($6,434) per carat.
Lucapa managing director Miles Kennedy said the latest sale was further evidence that the alluvial diamonds being recovered from Lulo through the company’s new Dense Media Separation (DMS) plant were world-class gems.
"The fact we have achieved average sale prices of almost $A7,000 per carat in two sales proves that Lulo diamonds are in the top-tier of diamonds globally," added Kennedy.
Earlier this month, Lucapa resumed alluvial sample processing through its DMS plant following the end of the Angolan wet season, and is also stockpiling sample excavated from priority kimberlite pipes for processing through the DMS plant.
