The oil and gas fields are owned by Angola’s national oil company Sonangol and operated by Total, ExxonMobil, BP and Statoil.

GE will supply four LM2500+ G4 SAC aeroderivative gas turbines for power generation and five compressors for a floating production storage and off-loading (FPSO) platform.

The CLOV project is the fourth development pole in the deepwater Block 17 after Girassol, Dalia and Pazflor.

Located around 140km from Luanda and 40km northwest of Dalia in water depths ranging from 1,100m to 1,400m, CLOV will bring on stream four fields: Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea and Violeta.
