Each unit involves modification to the existing flare system, gas compression and gas treating to remove hydrogen sulfide, and the recovered and treated gas will be returned to the refinery fuel gas system.

Technip‘s operating center in Houston, Texas, will execute this contract, which is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2011.

The scope of work includes basic engineering, project management, detailed engineering, procurement, construction support, pre-commissioning and start-up assistance.
