Under the terms of the contract, Osung LST will supply 31.25 million pieces of wafers to NSP from 2011 to the end of 2013.
NSP claims that this wafer supply agreement further enhanced its control of steady material supply.
NSP chairman Quincy Lin said that NSP strives to build friendly and mutually beneficial relationships with its suppliers.
The company said that its 2011 orders have reached beyond capacity; lately it has been signing contracts with both poly silicon and wafer suppliers to increase the stability of its long-term material supply in order to fulfill the strong demands from its customers.
