Beijing Jin Jing is a subsidiary of Jin Jing Group, which is engaged in the Chinese and Asian glass sectors.
Praxair China will build one air separation unit, two vacuum-pressure-swing-adsorption plants and one steam-methane-reforming-plant to meet the oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen demands of Beijing Jin Jing’s project.
These gases will help the project achieve greater energy savings in natural gas as well as a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, Praxair said.
The Praxair units are expected to start up in the first quarter of 2012.
Headquartered in Shanghai, Praxair is an industrial gas provider in China.
