GoSolarUSA’s interest centers around XSE’s Volt Technology, an external battery pack that attaches to the Apple iPhone and extends the phone’s battery life using a built-in solar panel, USB cable or AC power cord.
The Volt is currently being developed for use with third and fourth-generation iPhones.
With the letter of intent signed, GoSolarUSA will conduct due diligence toward a potential distribution agreement for XSE’s Volt Technology.
Earlier this year, GoSolarUSA signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the territory with Yosion, the Chinese developer of the Peel 520 accessory for Apple’s iPod Touch media player.
Volt Technology is a product of Xiamen Solar Electronics based in Xiamen, China.
