Total project cost is estimated to be approximately EUR30m and construction of the project is expected to start in late 2011.
Wind Works CEO and director Ingo Stuckmann said that this sale validates the company’s business strategy of diversifying into the German wind market.
"We will continue to look for opportunities to invest in advanced-stage wind projects in Germany where we can add value and then sell our interests in a 12-18 month time period," Stuckmann said.
Wind Works is a Canada-based developer of wind energy projects and EFI is a German wind farm developer.
