The wind farm, which was co-developed by Northland and Quebec-based 3Ci, achieved commercial operation in 2005 and has a contract to sell all its power to provincial utility Hydro-Quebec until 2026.
Northland recently closed $106m in non-recourse debt financing for a 100MW wind farm under construction near Mont Louis in Quebec’s Gaspesie region.
The company will use the proceeds of the Mont Miller wind farm sale to fund future development and for general corporate purposes.
