UK-based power producer mO3 Power is planning to invest £2.3bn to produce 1GW from renewable power from solar parks in the UK.
However, British Photovoltaic (PV) industry is lagging behind the Germans, which is the most developed in the world because of investment and a progressive Government.
Germany, in a bid to provide power from completely renewable sources by 2020, is developing Photovoltaics to guarantee competitive, reasonably priced, safe, secure and clean power.
mO3 Power CEO Ken Moss said that the UK government should provide incentives to the PV industry if it does not want to miss out on developing this technology.
