The drilling was focused on the Gaby target, located approximately 22km southeast of Ocampo and 29km northwest of Fresnillo’s Orisyvo gold deposit, where significant near surface mineralization was discovered.
In the Gaby target drilling, the company discovered significant mineralization in four of the five holes drilled.
The drilling results include 36m grading 0.68 g/t Au from 42m depth, and 60m at 0.57g/t Au from 94m depth in hole LJ-10-01.
Hole LJ-10-02 was drilled 26.6m grading 0.69g/t Au from 14m depth, while hole LJ-10-03 was drilled 49.3m at 0.63g/t Au from 7.6m depth, including 10.2m at 1.67 g/t Au from 9.2m depth.
Gammon senior vice president of exploration and business development Peter Drobeck said the company is very encouraged by the mineralization drilled in this initial campaign, as it documents extensive disseminated gold mineralization and locally high-grade gold.
