Socar NGDUs produced 619,010 tons versus 558,770 tons in February 2009, 619,170 tons in January 2009 and 626,480 tons in December 2008, and the Socar share in production of joint ventures (JVs) and operating companies (OCs) made 144,440 tons against 127,970 tons, 127,140 tons and 121,290 tons correspondingly.

For January-March 2009 on the whole oil production totaled 2.196 million tons, the company’s oil production was 1.796 million tons, and the share in JVs and OCs was 399,540 tons.

The 2009 oil production target for the company has made 8.65 million tons. For the year-end overall oil production totaled 9.337 million (target: 8.7 million tons), which includes 7.413 million tons of production by NGDUs (target: 7.43 million tons) and 1.923 million tons by JVs and OCs (target: 1.27 million tons).

The company has reported that for March 2009 it has delivered 484,800 tons for refining against 432,440 tons in February 2009, 575,380 tons of oil in January 2009 and 614,120 tons in December 2008. For January-March 2009 delivery for refining totaled 1.492 million tons against 7.35 million tons in the previous year.

Oil production for export for March 2009 touched 248,380 tons against 226,380 tons in February 2009, 148,620 tons in January 2009 and 150,730 tons in December 2008. Jan-Mar pumping totaled 623,380 tons versus 2.28 million in the previous year.

Oil was not sold for January-March 2009 and between July and October 2008.

Last year oil was sold by the NGDUs only in March 2009 (100 tons) against 500 tons for January-July 2007.
