Trench 3 is located approximately 900m to the north of Trench 2 and 1km north of Trench 1 along the Banded Iron Formation trend.
The samples from Trench 1 had earlier returned 44.66% Fe2O3 across 39m and Trench 2 returned 48.72% Fe2O3 across 22m.
The iron mineralization trend sampled by the three trenches over a distance of 1km confirmed the potential of the 8km trend of Banded iron formation.
Eagle Star Minerals president and CEO Eran Friedlander said that these results further confirm the large potential of the iron mineralization in the Cavaleiro block.
