Under the terms of the agreement, Trina will supply SunEdison with approximately 35MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules over the remainder of 2010.
The solar modules are expected to be utilized by US-based SunEdison for projects in North America and Europe.
Trina chief strategy officer Sean Tzou said that combining Trina’s modules with SunEdison’s solar project capabilities helps Trina to further increase market share, diversify its sales base and enhance recognition of its brand globally.
Trina is an integrated manufacturer of solar PV products and SunEdison is a provider of solar energy services.
