The projects include construction of a petroleum refinery and a storage terminal in Teluk Ramunia in Johor, Malaysia, which are worth MYR 15bn ($5bn) and MYR 2bn ($667m) respectively, reports Reuters.
The Malaysian Government has given license to Gulf Asian Petroleum, which is half-owned by Abu Dhabi investment fund Mubadala Development, to develop oil and gas facilities in Johor.
The government has called for oil and gas companies to scale up as part of its economic transformation programme.
