Liaoyuan Coal Mining owns a thermal coal mine in Inner Mongolia which is located 46 km away from the King Stone Energy’s Hengtai coal mine and adjacent to the new mine.
Liaoyuan coal mine produces high quality thermal coal with heat value above 5,000 Kcal/kg, and has resources estimate of of 15.79 million tons and approved output capacity of 0.6 million tons per annum.
The firm is planning to upgrade the production capacity at the Liaoyuan mine, to reach 0.9 million tonnes per annum by the fourth quarter of 2011.
