This filing reflects the collaborative effort of PNM’s electric utility, Public Service Co, and the six key parties which signed a rate increase deal with PNM in February 2011.
Consistent with the terms of the order allowing the rates to go into effect, the filing indicates that the utility and other parties are taking no position on the modifications made by the commission.
Earlier this week, New Mexico regulators filed a final order to grant Public Service Co the $72.1m increase to annual base revenues.
PNM and the key parties had until 12 August to formally accept the modifications for the commission’s order to become effective.
According to the company, the new electric rates will go into effect on 21 August 2011.
