The growth in the production demonstrates the highest figures in last 11 months.
Biofuel stockpiles, however, dropped to 1.5% to 16.2 million barrels a day, representing the lowest since 5 November 2010, Bloomberg reported citing EIA.
US has refrained from buying biofuel from foreign sources since 19 April, reported to be the longest stretch compared to that in 2 March 2012.
EIA report further revealed that the ethanol-blended gasoline contributed nearly 94% of the country’s total fuel supply in the week, against 95% in the previous period. It is the smallest amount since 19 April 2013.
