The 20,230m drilling program will focus on further growth of the Triple R deposit, evaluate nearby mineralized targets and test a series of high priority regional targets.

The company is spending $10m for the winter drilling as part of an overall $15m budget for 2015 exploration.

An initial resource estimate for the Triple R deposit showed 79.6 million lbs U3O8 indicated and 25.9 million lbs U3O8 inferred.

Fission president, COO and chief geologist Ross McElroy said: "Our initial resource estimate of the Triple R deposit, announced earlier this month, represents the largest undeveloped uranium deposit in the Basin and one of the largest initial resources ever seen in the region.

"That deposit, which was grown from discovery to resource in just two years, remains open in several directions and has tremendous growth potential.

"We have already drilled anomalous radioactivity elsewhere on the property and this drill program will include a very aggressive exploration element."

Bryson Drilling has been selected for the diamond drill coring, while Northspan Explorations will conduct RC Drilling.
