The contract covers the design, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), installation, testing and commissioning of the 132/11kV substation.
Work under the contract is anticipated to complete 20 months before the substation is handed over to the Dubai Water & Electricity Co (DEWA).
Emirates Electrical Engineering general manager M. V. Prabash said the company secured the project despite tough competition from multinational companies and local EPC companies.
”Due to the capabilities we possess in all aspects of an EPC company and the competitiveness we have developed over the years we are confident in achieving the completion target within the given time with our qualified and experienced team’s dedicated efforts and commitment to excellence,” Prabash added.
The Dubai Trade Centre development project aims to enable Dubai World Trade Centre to address the power requirements of both new planned projects and future developments in Dubai Trade Centre District.
