Bladt Industries has been awarded the contract for 36 monopiles for the Dutch offshore wind project at Egmond aan Zee, the first large offshore wind project in the Netherlands.
Egmond is backed by Shell and Nuon but Ballast Nedam, who will install the monopiles, awarded the contract to the Danish steel contractor.
