Steag Solar Energy Solutions, an international solar power developer, assigned Alfen, expert in energy solutions for the future, to install a local energy grid for solar park Drachtsterweg in Leeuwarden (the Netherlands).

Steag Solar Energy Solutions GmbH is a globally operating service provider in the field of renewable energy with headquarters in Würzburg (Germany). Thanks to its global network of partners they operate efficiently, reliably and flexibly. Solar park Drachtsterweg in Leeuwarden is the first project for Steag located in the Netherlands. They chose Alfen for its technical expertise and knowledge of the Dutch market. The commissioning of this solar park on the Drachtsterweg in Leeuwarden has provided approximately 3,500 local households with green energy since the beginning of this summer.
