The power project, which is expected to be completed in 2013, will include 21 turbines with a maximum generating capacity of 52.5MW.

The company’s total investment on this project will amount to approximately £60m ($96.6m).

The facility will be built in cooperation with the company’s local partner Baillie Wind Farm Holdings, in which Statkraft holds an 80% ownership interest.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Baillie Wind Farm Holdings will operate the wind farm.

Statkraft has also decided to construct the 100MW Morttjarnberget wind farm in Sweden’s Jamtland County and this facility will be completed in 2013.
