The contract was signed by SEPCOIII Party Committee secretary Sun Degao and Guodian Taian Thermal Power president Li Anyong during a ceremony, which was also attended by related leaders of Guodian Shandong Electric Power, as well as other project participants’ representatives.
Scheduled to run over the next 18 months, the contract covers civil and installation, and coal handling system civil and installation work.
Speaking after the ceremony, Degao said the Taian Project represents China Guodian Corporation’s show project.
”First, we must pay high attention on it and carefully plan and ensure unit’s high quality and high standard. Second, we must make great efforts for safety management and control it,” Degao added.
”Third, we should open mind to not only making sure the quality and safety of project’s progress, but also broadening sources of income & reduce expenditure and scientifically organizing to reduce the project cost.”
”Fourth, we must strengthen the cooperation with participants and create project’s harmonious atmosphere.”
The company should also strengthen the construction of staff team and take care of their living, noted Degao, who also inspected the construction site and got a detail understanding of the project’s progress.
The 700MW Taian Cogeneration Project secured final approval from China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in March 2013, IIR Energy had earlier reported citing a company statement.
