Kyro Power’s Kyröskoski hydro plant was inaugurated on 8 September with three presidents in attendance, including the President of Finland.
The new plant replaced one dating from the early years of this century, and has increased power production and plant efficiency, while improving the local environment (see IWP&DC, August 1998, p30).
