The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has granted a concession to local utility Bulko Kraft to construct the Bulko hydro station in western Norway.

The station will be built on the site of a 127m high waterfall using an 840m pipe from the inlet to the power station. Bulko station, based in Granvin in central Fjord, Norway, will have an annual generation capacity of some 7.6GWh.
