NiSource has announced that Jerry Godwin, senior vice president of electric generation and transmission, will retire on March 31, 2008.
Mr Godwin has held his current role since April 2005, with responsibility for NiSource’s 3,392MW electric generation fleet and more than 3,000 miles of associated electric transmission facilities in Indiana.
Robert Skaggs Jr, president and CEO of NiSource, said: Jerry has provided a unique blend of operations knowledge and process focus for our electric generation and transmission functions. Under his guidance, we implemented new operational and work management systems at our generating stations, completed an array of major capital investment projects, and successfully navigated the challenges posed by the new Midwest independent transmission system operator environment.
