The Iran Water & Power Resources Co, part of the Iranian Ministry of Energy, has appointed coyne-et-bellier of France to work on its Karun 4 hydroelectric plant, the com-pany announced on 2 April.
Coyne et Bellier will be assisting consulting engineer for the project. The company’s work will include reviewing the project and assisting the leading consulting engineers, mahab-ghodss of Iran, in preparing the final design.
The Karun 4 project will comprise a 230m high arch gravity dam and a 1000MW powerhouse.
