CHS Farms is a 165 acre sustainable integrated aquaponic facility 45 miles northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. The facility will use natural gravity flow and over 200,000 gallons of water flowing downhill daily to produce hydro-power. The land has the potential to develop over 10MW of solar, wind and hydro power.

Jason Licamele, project manager of CHS Farms, said: “We are very excited to be able to utilize the technologies GWS Tech has to offer.

“We plan to implement environmentally sound standards for producing food and energy by utilizing our natural resources as efficiently as possible in conjunction with modern technologies, this will allow us to get more food production from our water, land, and nutrient resources as compared to conventional agriculture.”

GWS said that it harnesses power from renewable sources to help consumers and businesses generate their own clean power and reduce carbon emissions.
