The company said that the work is slated to commence in May 2011 and the turbines are expected to be put into operation and handed over in September.

The wind farm is the company’s eighth in southern Sweden and will bring the company’s total number of wind turbines in operation or under construction to 64, with a total capacity of about 136MW.

According to the company, the project meets the company’s minimum requirement of a 10% return on invested capital.

The estimated specific investment cost is about SEK5.3/kWh ($0.88kWh) per year.
