"Designed for Tomorrow" is the title of Implico’s presentation at StocExpo 2016 showcasing its latest innovations for the downstream business. Attracting industry experts from all over Europe, StocExpo is the tank terminal sector’s biggest trade show. This year, the event will run from 15-17 March in Antwerp. One highlight at Implico’s stand at E14 will be a preview of the new OpenTAS 6.0 release, another focus will be on the iGOS cloud solution.

How can efficiency be improved for oil product storage and distribution? Answers will be provided by Implico at StocExpo 2016, where the company will be offering a sneak peek at key features from OpenTAS 6.0. The new release of the terminal automation system for tank farms and refineries is currently still in development, with a market launch expected at the end of the year. Compared to previous versions, the new software will offer expanded functionality, improved performance, support for the latest technologies and usability optimizations. Some of the highlights that users can look forward to include a highly flexible reporting system and especially user-friendly truck handling in the form of the new TOC (Truck Operations Cockpit) module.

The new terminal automation system release will be available as on-premises software and as a cloud service. Full details of this option will be available from the Implico stand. With iGOS (Implico Global Operation Services), tank farm operators can migrate their entire supply chain to the cloud. Low operating costs, better data quality, leaner structures and greater flexibility for adapting the product to customer needs are just some of the advantages offered by iGOS.
