The contract includes delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service and maintenance agreement.

The order has been placed by Emgasud, an Argentinean company providing services for power generation, distribution and transportation of natural gas.

Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to start in the first half of next year.

Vestas Mediterranean president Juan Araluce said that this new project in Argentina represents one step ahead in Vestas’ current expansion in Latin America.
