As part of the deployment, USLT will provide 500 units of its Cobra 100 Series Induction Streetlight to the city.

The deployment will take place throughout this year, and the company will replace the city’s outdated high-pressure sodium and metal halide lighting technologies.

USLT president Richard Ham said San Fernando’s street re-lighting initiative is part of a broader US federal government green campaign encouraging states and, in turn, cities to embrace infrastructure solutions that are more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient.

USLT is headquartered in Irvine, California, is a manufacturer of induction lighting systems.

USLT has installed its induction products in 220 municipalities and cities.
