The Compact Hydro turbine configurator is now available online from VA Tech Hydro.
The configurator comprises three parts: the turbine configurator; the feasibility calculator; and the finance calculator. Each part can be used independently.
The configurators are linked through the Explorer, where data can be saved for further use. Alternative plant data can be kept as versions or sent to a business partner in a secure, encrypted mode.
Using key hydraulic data, the configurator selects the best fitting turbine. This data, along with additional information, which can be uploaded, forms the basis for a request for proposal. Thee inquiries are routed automatically to the nearest office in charge.
After completing turbine configurator steps, customers can quickly check the feasibility of their project on the basis of prior estimated costs.
