The agreement, initially signed in January 2010, has been extended until 31 December 2012.
As per the terms of the agreement, Trina Solar recognizes RFI as their exclusive distributor in Australia, and is expected to supply RFI with up to 40MW of PV modules during 2011.
Trina Solar chairman and CEO Jifan Gao said that the company believes that the renewal and expansion of its long-term relationship will help it grow in this key solar-friendly market.
RFI Solar managing director Scott Magee said that the company believes that this partnership with Trina Solar will deliver additional value to its customers, allowing it to provide its customers with access to innovative PV applications from Trina Solar.
