Iron Mountain will assist TEP UK in extracting its physical information assets, including core samples, seismic sections, surveys, maps, and exploration reports, to preserve their value and comply with Government regulations.

TEP UK will also manage its digital tape media with the help of Iron Mountain.

In a heavily regulated industry, Iron Mountain will help TEP UK manage their information for compliance and sustainability purposes, supporting them in delivering relevant information to the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the Common Data Access Ltd and releasing information as required.

TEP UK Ton Ruijgrok said the company creates vast amounts of information which needs to be maintained for the long term.

"By continuing to work with Iron Mountain and entering into this ten-year agreement, our information is preserved in line with our requirements, and is available to the community when needed," Ruijgrok said.
