Ekhgoviin Chuluu Joint Venture, which has a 60% interest in the Nuurstei project, is owned by Aspire Mining and Noble Group.

The sample was taken from hole NUDH012, which is drilled during October 2014 exploration program.

Samples are tested at the ALS Laboratory in Ulaanbaatar.

Located in the Orkhon-Selenge Coal Basin, the Nuurstei project is in proximity to the sealed road that connects to the Mongolian rail system.

ECJV is evaluating the existing data and preparing to commence an exploration program.

Aspire managing director David Paull said: "We are very pleased with the results received from this single core hole which indicates a premium hard coking coal is present in this project.

"Additional work will be required to confirm these results are indicative of the entire project."
