According to the company the EcoChamp tracking systems are designed such to achieve 40% higher efficiencies resulting in higher returns-on-investment for solar projects.
TecnoSun Solar Canada Chairman of the Board Ken Rounds commenting on the expansion plans said, "On average solar tracking systems typically increase electricity production between 20-40%."
It also addresses some of the important concerns of commercial and utility-scale developers in the industry.
Other advantages include quicker and less expensive installation, reduced land requirement, and minimized operations/maintenance costs.
