“We are operating a 750 MW wind farm near Jakhau in Kutch. Now, we want to expand it to 1,500 MW,” said Harish Mehta, Director of Suzlon Group of companies, on the sidelines of a function here.
Currently, the company has cumulative installed base of 4,400 MW in India with a presence in eight states.
Besides Jakhau, Suzlon has its wind farms at Dhule and Satara (both in Maharashtra) with a capacity of 250 MW and 350 MW, respectively.
