Survalent Technology, a provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) Solar Power Plant in Baja California Sur state.

The 1MW Santa Rosalia photovoltaic pilot project consists of photovoltaic modules, support structure with an axis tracking, control and monitoring system, power conditioning system, main transformer, connection and disconnection main equipment, control booth, perimeter fence and security system.

Survalent’s certified integrator Tesla Ingeniería carried out the engineering, development and commissioning of the automation and control system

Survalent claims that the integrator designed and developed the system’s architecture to achieve efficient control, monitoring, data storage, reporting and trending for all field devices, while providing local and remote operation.

Survalent vice president of Sales for México, Benjamín Pérez said Tesla Ingeniería selected the Survalent Technology based on its reliability and remote access capabilities for this critical project.

"Our SCADA technology will provide a reliable, powerful and flexible platform that will allow the CFE to maintain full control and monitoring of their infrastructure under any operation conditions," Pérez added.
