The last unit of the 100MW Binghai North H1 offshore wind farm in Jiangsu Province, SPIC’s wind farm pilot project, was connected to the grid, marking a huge breakthrough of SPIC’s offshore wind farm development.
The construction period of the 25 units was shortened by one month than the scheduled construction plan, which sets the record of the highest construction speed with the lowest cost of offshore wind farm in China.
Construction of the wind farm went in parallel with trial operation. By the end of May, the accumulative output exceeded 20.23 GWh, with a predicted annual output of 333 GWh after being fully put into operation.
