The 756kW system is comprised of 12 carports with 3,150 solar panels that harvest the sun and create clean power at the point of use.

The system will produce 850,945kWh a year and eliminate 1.6 million pounds of carbon dioxide.

SolarMax Technology president David Hsu said the carport solar system deployed at the Wyndham in New Jersey will help offset the hotel’s energy bills by 67%.

Under a 15-year power purchase agreement, SolarMax Technology will sell the electricity generated by the solar panels at a fixed rate to the Wyndham Hotel.
