Six wind turbines with a total output of 19.8 megawatts save 26,000 tons of CO2 each year – equivalent to the annual output of more than 11,000 cars. The total investment was around 27 million euros.
For the market town of Oberwaltersdorf, the topics of environment and energy have long been in focus: "We are very pleased to be able to make a further contribution to meeting our energy needs from ecological sources with this wind farm.
