SRC will use the integrated APM system to reduce the cost and risk associated with the manufacturing assets and to capture and report critical inspection data from many disconnected systems into one.
The Meridium mechanical integrity work process includes tools for risk based inspection and inspection management that prevents loss of containment, mitigates risks and optimizes costs.
SRC Inspection & Reliability manager Eddy Yew said, "With Meridium, we were able to integrate and migrate critical inspection data from multiple disconnected systems into a single APM platform, which is critical for our reporting and compliance requirements."
SRC had deployed APM foundation and mechanical integrity modules with associated work processes that allows the use of the existing data and structures such as the IBM Maximo interface from other systems.
Meridium Asia Pacific region Managing Director Greg Horrell said, "With Meridium’s proven, integrated technology and work processes, SRC can expect to see greater inspection compliance, lower risk and ultimately greater plant reliability and utilization."
The APM foundation also provides performance data and identifies opportunities for improvement.
SRC is a joint venture between Singapore Petroleum Company and Chevron.
Meridium is a US based company that provides asset performance management software and services for asset-intensive industries.
