The two individual solar systems are installed at separate locations: a 481kW ground mount at the treatment facility and a 20kW roof top at the district office.

The TWSD plant, which is expected to save $3.8m in electricity costs over 25 years, was developed and designed jointly by Creotecc Solar Mounting Systems and Elite Solar.

Designed to eliminate cent percent of the electricity bill, the project will generate enough electricity to power about 100 single family homes.

The Creotecc ground mount system utilized at the site consists of an advanced insertion rail system, in addition to other American made products including PV powered inverters.

Session Solar has prepared the feasibility study, secured project financing, and sourced the equipment, while Elite Solar managed the construction, interconnection and long-term maintenance contract for the system.
