Sensus Metering Systems Inc. (Sensus) and Telemetric Corporation (Telemetric) have formed an alliance to integrate the Sensus FlexNet RF technology into Telemetric intelligent communications devices and PowerVista software to provide solutions for electric utility smart grid applications. The alliance will provide Sensus customers with compatibility to a broad solution set for smart grid applications and protocols including interfaces to major providers of distribution equipment.
The Telemetric devices with FlexNet SmartPoint radios will support communication with distribution assets and use all of the PowerVista features, including interfacing to utility SCADA systems.
