The feasibility study will also assess the wind resource and determining the economic savings this project would bring to the Overlook Masonic Health System.

In the preliminary analysis of the Overlook Masonic Health Center, it was found that the payback period for the project would be 10 years, saving the client an expected $10 million during the wind turbine’s anticipated life span of 25 years.

The analysis was based on a model for a 1.5 megawatt wind turbine with total project costs estimated at about $4.25 million.
